Hi and welcome to my website. I am a singer/song writer/producer. Born and raised in Siberia, Russia, I was classically trained in Piano and Voice. Even though classical music had a profound influence on me throughout my life, I was always considering myself a Pop artist. In today's time with the advent of the technology that resulted in recording gear that is a lot more affordable and high quality than home producer could ever dream of years ago, many genres can be more easily produced using a plethora of samples, plugins, etc.

 

I still took the old road of learning the music production skills from the perspective of a classical musician, using my fortunate for me background in Piano which helps me to this day with the arrangements, writing, etc. Coming up with the chords and arpeggios is easier than ever with the availability of many great quality virtual arpeggiators across many DAWs, or soft synths capable of creating incredible sounds and musical arrangements. I love all of those tools available to today's producers and see no shame in learning music production without any specific music background, after all I personally know very talented producers who couldn't even read music, and yet wrote and produced great songs. 

 

With that being said, I recognize how fortunate I was to have received my Piano and Voice training, which simplifies certain aspects of music production for me, such as a quick rough song arrangement where i can just play Piano chords and record on my iPhone (the often go-to-method of recording song ideas for many producers :), so I can then further work on it in my DAW. We live in the very exciting times as far as music production is concerned, and I, as an ultimate optimist, see incredible opportunities for many musicians who are willing to work hard to learn and improve their skills, despite of the many changes in how music is consumed today (streaming, etc). I hope today's musicians are not discourage by the negative sides of the industry - they always existed but just evolved - and instead focus on the joy of creating music, and be brave to share it with the rest of us! This is what my website is all about - sharing my creations with you, whatever they may be, I assure you they will always come from my heart! I hope you enjoy it! :)
